Reading Through American History (A Novel Approach)

This year-long class meets on Tuesdays

This course is worth 2 credits: 1 for Literature, and 1 for U.S. History

We learn best through stories. A good story can have a life-long impact. So, why read about our history through a boring textbook? Reading novels about the significant time periods in American History will help your student gain a deeper understanding of people, culture, and events that shaped our nation’s story. Make history come alive for your students! This class will provide the shelves for major events in American History. Your student will add to those shelves for the rest of their lives. Syllabus includes movies to watch that correspond with events!

Private Tutoring

Super Social Skills

This is a year long class that meets on Tuesdays via Zoom

Get ready for fun! Join me as we focus on building social skills. The goal of these sessions to to create confident communication, encourage self-regulation, build friendships and have a lot of fun! There will be trivia questions, games, fun-facts, holiday fun and more, all intended to encourage lively and light-hearted conversation while building people skills!

Middle School Writing

This is a year-long class that meets on Wednesdays via Zoom

It is worth one credit.

Using IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing), students will learn how to construct creative stories, persuasive essays, research papers and more! This is an excellent class to prepare students for high school writing.

High School Writing

This is a year-long class and meets on Thursdays via Zoom.
